Emily, Ashley, Romeo & Thumper
Emily got in touch to book a photo shoot after her lovely horse Ashley had been for a visit to the vets. She wanted to make sure she didn't regret not having some lovely photos of them together, so we met at her lovely home in Hulland Ward for her photo shoot back in September.
The views up there were absolutely stunning, coupled with a beautiful evening it was really dreamy. Emily had her sister, mum, and some friends there to help with outfit changes, holding horses, tacking up etc, and it really was a lovely evening!
It was also the first time she had sat on Ashley for a while, it was really emotional actually, and for me it's these exact moments that photo shoots and making memories with your horses are all about!
"When I saw Imogen's work from a tag from my auntie I wasn't sure if I should book a photo shoot or not... but wow! I am glad I did now!
My old boy Ash, the big bay, has had a few health issues over the years and I finally made the decision in September that I would go for it and do the photo shoot. At 23 years old, having had emergency joint flush surgery and hospitalised for a few weeks a couple years ago I feel very lucky to still have him with me.
Unfortunately 6 months after surgery he was diagnosed with a partial tear of his tendon, and I was told I would probably never ride him again. To get back on him for the photo shoot was phenomenal, and Imogen truly captured that moment in photos. The smile on my face says it all, And I think Ashley would have gone for a gallop across the field has he been allowed!
Imogen had some amazing ticks up her sleeve to get all three boys attention which was proven in the photos where all ears are in the same direction. I honestly couldn't have asked anything more from her.
Not only are the photos fantastic, but the presentation in person is absolutely beautiful. The leather wallet is a great way to keep the prints safe, and my 16"frame is the perfect size to be mounted in the perfect spot.
I would very highly recommend her to anyone thinking about a photo shoot. Very friendly, patient and more than happy to put time in to help you make the best decision to fit you!"
Here are some more photos from that evening...
