I don't even know where to begin with this - I have met SO many amazing people, horses, dogs and done some amazing photo shoots in the last 12 months. I really enjoyed choosing my image of the year in 2019, and so I wanted to do the same again this year.
It's quite a tough choice, with so many to choose from, but there is one image that really makes my heart beat faster when I see it. Not only because of the actual image itself, but everything it represents, what went into creating the image, and the context of the photo shoot.
So here it is, my photo of the year for 2020...
This was taken in October - it's safe to say over the summer with all the practice my photos have certainly got better! Lexie had sold her pony, Humphrey, and he was leaving for his new home the next day. I knew exactly how she was feeling, as I let me heart horse go back in May 2019. I think that's why it means so much to me.
There were a few close seconds, so I'll share them below as well.
