What a lovely photoshoot this was. I had loads of fun visiting Charlotte and her horses back in October last year at their stables in Derbyshire. Charlotte had just decided to retire her heart horse, Sammy, and she had decided to mark the occasion with some photos.

When I asked Charlotte what her dream image was, she said she'd really love a photo of all four of her horses together. Of course with three of them being mares and Charlotte only having two arms it can feel a little stressful trying to get this sort of photo.

We had a little chat about who would be best stood next to each other, and with the help of Charlotte's mum (who stood just out of shot), I was ready and waiting to take the image. We decided to take the photo in the school as it felt like a safe enclosed space where everyone would feel most calm & comfortable.

We also included Charlotte's lovely German Shepard, Delta in some of the photos. Delta also got some of the limelight at the end where we had a play in the field and I got some photos of just her, and some of her & Charlotte to finish off.
