Lexie & Dusty
In April I went back to see Lexie for the second time, this time with her new pony, Dusty.
Dusty came over from Italy about 6 months ago to be with Lexie on loan, and they're aiming to complete some pony trials in the autumn if everything goes to plan this season.
It as a bit of a grey day up in the peaks - I think it even rained at one point - though it did make for a bit of a darker mood in the images. We still managed to capture plenty of gorgeous ones of the pair of them.
Lexie's ponies are stabled at their beautiful home in the middle of the peaks with stunning views and stone walls. It really is beautiful up there.
It's so lovely to capture some images of the bond at home between horse and rider... I think often when riders compete they get so many photos at competitions but often feel like they don't have time to capture something a little different. It's lovely to capture a true partnership at home, not just out on the cross country course.
