Phoebe & Zena

"I was actually really looking forward to my photoshoot as it was my second photoshoot. My first one I was really apprehensive about being in-front of a camera, but Imogen made me feel so at ease, so I was much more excited for my second shoot!

My mare is on retirement livery and I will be unfortunately losing her in the near future, so I really wanted some gorgeous photos of her in her retirement home, looking fluffy and happy (albeit dirty!). I wanted some memories of her living her best life that I’ve given her after her riding career ended.

My only concern was how dirty Zena would be! It was my second photoshoot with Imogen so I had no other worries at all

I felt very at ease for the photoshoot. I got all the photos I wanted and more! Although it was a limited edition shoot (shorter than usual), I didn’t feel rushed at all and it was the perfect amount of time for our shoot.

There is some gorgeous photos of us stood in a stream, which I hadn’t thought about using for the photoshoot- I love that it’s a bit different to my first photos I got at my old livery yard.



I loved every second and I absolutely love my photos. I want to have some printed for the house as well as the digital ones as I can’t get enough of them!"

I've worked with Phoebe & Zena before when they had a full photoshoot session with me a few years ago.

Zena is 17 years old now, she's an Irish Sports Horse who Phoebe used to event and show jump locally. Zena is now fully retired and living out her days amongst some stunning scenery in the Ashbourne/Peak District countryside. 

Phoebe wanted some more photos to add to her collection, and she really wanted one sat on her bareback (depending on how Zena was on the day).
