Rebecca, Ozzy & Family

In August I had the pleasure of working with Becca and her lovely horses, dogs & mum. Her photoshoot was a gift from her other half - top brownie points if you asked me!

The main photo Becca wanted was one of the two horses and 4 dogs without her in it - challenge accepted!

I must give her the credit here, she had the great idea of using the gate to tie the horses to, then sitting the dogs in front which worked surprisingly well. We got this shot done first, as I know it was really important to her, then we could all relax knowing it was in the bag and get a whole variety of shots throughout the rest of the shoot.

Her gorgeous big bay gelding is called Ozzy. The pair of them were separated when Becca moved abroad for a few years, but since she came back they've found each other again. Such a lovely story. Ozzy is a 17Hh warmblood gelding who has a quieter life now due to a few previous injuries, but they still enjoy hacking and polework clinics together.

Jerry is her mum's little chestnut gelding. He is a super cheeky Welsh D cross. We decided to include a couple of photos of them as Becca thought this would make a nice present for her mum, as well.

Then they have 4 beautiful big dogs. Bella, Pokey, Tye & Buddy. Bella stayed a little longer and we did some photos with her, Becca & Ozzy together, then she hogged the spotlight and we did some fun things of Bella on her own in the neighbouring stubble field at the end.

It was a really lovely day spent at their livery yard in the sunshine. Everyone was so well behaved and easy to work with - not always the case with so many dogs and horses in one place!

At the viewing we shared stories about living abroad which was really lovely, it's nice to hear other people's experiences of what it was like for them and how they're also happy to be back in the UK.

There's no place like home!
