1. Plan
Your experience begins with a chat — we’ll talk through your vision, understand what’s most important to you, and make sure we’re the perfect fit. A beautiful Welcome Pack then arrives in the post, filled with all the details you need: seasonal styling tips, product inspiration, and what to expect. Together, we’ll then design every detail on a design consultation call, tailoring the shoot to reflect your bond with your horse/dog and your unique style.
2. Capture
On the day of your portrait session, it’s all about connection, fun, and unforgettable moments. Whether it’s just you and your horse, your dog or the whole family, we’ll create a relaxed experience with multiple outfits and locations to craft a rich gallery of images that feel true to you. And as a little creative bonus, I always make a little time at the end for something different — something amazing you might not have imagined.
3. Create
The magic continues at your private reveal — a cinematic viewing where we relive every moment together. You’ll select your favourite images and we’ll design your dream artwork collection, with expert guidance every step of the way.
Whether you choose albums, framed pieces or digital images, each piece is crafted to last — a legacy of love, beautifully brought to life.

The Welcome Pack
Four weeks before your portrait session, a beautifully printed welcome pack will arrive in the post—packed with everything you need to feel fully prepared and inspired. Inside you'll find a seasonal style guide, product overview, and all about the portrait session journey. It’s a gorgeous keepsake in itself – and if you’re gifting this experience, it’s a lovely thing to unwrap.
The Design Consultation
Two weeks before your session, we’ll meet—either via video/phone call or in person at my studio. This is where the creative journey really comes to life. We’ll dive into all the meaningful details, storyboard your favourite ideas, chat locations, styling, timing, and of course, your beloved horse and the bond you share. Every detail is crafted just for you so that your portrait session feels like a natural reflection of your story.
The Portrait Session
This is where the magic happens. Whether at your home or a favourite landscape, your 2-hour session unfolds at a relaxed pace, with no rush or pressure. Bring along your horses, dogs, and family—this is a celebration of your whole world. We’ll work through different outfit changes and locations to create a gallery of images rich in variety, personality, and emotion. And before we wrap things up, I always leave a little time to get artistic—something bold, unexpected, and uniquely yours.
The Private Viewing & Artwork Design
The final, unforgettable chapter. You’ll come to my studio for an exclusive viewing of your images—played out in a beautiful slideshow. Together, we’ll select your favourites and design a bespoke collection of artwork that’s ready to live in your home for generations. With samples you can feel and digital design tools to preview every detail, we’ll create something you’ll be proud to display—whether that’s elegant frames, multi-image displays, a fine art album, or the full digital collection.

A portrait session with me is more than having your picture taken and downloading them onto your phone, it's an exquisite experience that is crafted just for you. From the design consultation call where we plan your dream session, right through to the private in-person viewing session where you can turn those moments into pieces of art that will last forever. I will guide you through the whole experience so you are left with images and products that bring you unbridled joy.

What happens if it rains?
No one wants soggy images of themselves, I completely get that. I always do a rain check the day before, so if we need to reschedule due to weather, we simply do just that.
Can I have multiple horses/dogs?
Of course! I don't charge for extra horses, dogs, or family members. The more the merrier if you ask me! Just let me know how many four-legged & two-legged family members I can expect so we can plan accordingly.
Do I have to be in the photos?
Not at all. If you'd like your horse/dog to be the star of the show, that's perfectly fine! I can always feature you in other ways, such as your hand touching your horse's muzzle, for example. I always encourage you to be in a couple, it's not the paparazzi style photo shoot you might think. I promise you it's not awkward and you won't feel like you're having your photo taken.
What is an in person viewing session?
All my images are revealed in person. This means you come to my studio 2-4 weeks after your shoot and I'll show you a gorgeous slideshow of all your images.
This is so you can view your images at their absolute best. With all my samples to hand we can create your dream artwork collection that will bring you the most joy out of the time and money you have invested in this experience.
Your private viewing takes approximately 2 hours, and we will design your whole artwork collection during this time. Clients typically invest between £1000-£3000 here.
Do you do a payment plan?
50% of the shoot fee is due upon booking to secure your date, with the shoot fee balance due 30 days before. Payment plans for additional purchases at your viewing can be discussed.
Do you travel?
I travel all over the UK & beyond for portrait sessions. First 2.5 hours is free of charge, small transparent travel cost applies after that to cover expenses. National & International travel price on application.
