I can never look at these images without a great big beaming smile. How bloody adorable?!

My photoshoot with 6 year old Emmie and her gorgeous black welsh pony, Aria was just to die for!

Emmie & Aria won their photoshoot with me after her mum, Shannon, entered my giveaway at my trade stand at Thoresby Horse Trials back in March. 

Aria is a 12Hh Welsh B Mare who they've had for 3 years. They do a bit of showing, pony club and hunting together, as well as trying their hand at polocrosse and games.

Emmie had 3 different dresses for her photoshoot. A gorgeous white, pink & blue one. We did the shoot at the yard they're stabled at near Mansfield, and as it backed onto Sherwood Pines we did a few around local bridle paths, too. 

Shannon wanted the images to look very natural. Emmie did a great job of handling her pony. I was so impressed! We had loads of fun and got a tonne of gorgeous images of them both.

I know they always say don't work with children and animals but honestly it's my absolute favourite. How can you not want to work with them when you end up with images like this?

At their private in person viewing session, we created a gorgeous frame which sits at the bottom of their stairs. I know how quickly children can grow up, and it's lovely that Shannon now has these gorgeous photos of Emmie to look back on as she gets older.
