Okay, I don't even know where to start with this one. I'd share every single photo from this adorable photoshoot if I could fit them all on this blog post.

Hazel won a photoshoot with me when she entered my competition on my trade stand at Thoresby Park Horse Trials back in March. August literally came around so fast (honestly, where is this year going?!) and before I knew it I was at their family home in Hoar Cross, Staffordshire, doing one of my favourite photoshoots of all time.

Speaking to Hazel beforehand, she said she wanted this shoot to mainly focus on the children, Archie & Poppy, with their ponies and dogs. And oh my goodness the results were freaking adorable!

We started off doing photos with Poppy & her new pony Charlie in the garden in front of the apple trees. I loved the little green dress they picked out, nothing beats a little girl with her pony in a cute little dress! Archie was still feeling a little shy at this point, so we decided to go with a family photo on the driveway next.

Archie was wearing the most adorable checked shirt and cowboy boots, and was eventually feeling brave enough to have some photos (with dad close by) with his lovely little 13 year old Welsh section A pony Olive.

After doing some more photos with Poppy and her pony Buttercup (6 year old cob x shetland) we moved onto doing some photos with Hazel & Charles in the field with their handsome Irish horses Paddy (4 years old chestnut) & Squire (4 years old steel grey). By this point Archie has cleaned up his gator ready to have some photos with the dogs Roo Scrubs. The smile on his face when he got to include his gator was one I won't forget.

Archie really took the limelight with these, then we did some of both the children here before finishing off with some photos of the dogs on their own (they really put on a show doing zoomies around the field so I couldn't resist!).

Due to the weather I had to postpone my photoshoot the next day, so we did Hazel's viewing the next morning. It's a good job we did the shoot the day before because the rain was just biblical!

They say never work with kids and animals but how can you not when the photos come out like this?! Always so genuine and authentic. I love the challenge and all the different emotions we get on the day.
