Is there anything more dreamy than a palomino in autumn?!

I feel like all the elements of this shoot came together so perfectly, and this gentle giant, Miller, really rocked it at this time of year.

I loved India's wardrobe choices as well, I feel like they reflected her style and personality perfectly.

You guys know I love a rustic farm location, and their livery yard was situated right in the middle of Derbyshire stone wall country. Surrounded by endless bridleways and a beautiful burst of colourful autumn leaves, we were spoiled for choice with locations.

Miller behaved exceptionally well through the whole thing, he is literally a gigantic teddy bear. It was a pleasure to photograph their bond. You know you're 17 hand good boy when your mum trusts you enough to sit on the floor for a cuddle! India has owned him since he was just 4 years old, so they've been together for over 7 years now.

We also had help from India's lovely mum, Debbie, who was brave enough to get in a couple of photos at the end as well. I just really enjoyed this whole shoot from start to finish, when I look back through the images they give me all the warm autumn fuzzy feelings.

I know India now has a tonne of gorgeous images to put up in her first home that will bring her lots of joy for years to come.

So many horse owners have images out competing and at fun rides, but it's such a precious thing to have captured your bond with your horse at home. This is what it's all about, why we have horses in the first place. They bring us so much joy and comfort, and images really do speak a thousand words.
