"Before my portrait session I felt a mix of nerves and excitement but mainly excitement! I love Imogen’s style, which truly shows the bond between you and your horse, whilst the images remain very natural and in the moment.

I was nervous about my portrait session, particularly on the day as someone who is very shy and generally avoids cameras at all costs. I was also worried that I wouldn’t like any of images, however Imogen put all my worries to ease, made me feel very comfortable on the day and I have the most incredible images to look back on forever, which were 100% worth the investment.

The whole thing was incredible. Imogen ensured that all the finer details were ironed out in my design consultation call, so we were both on the same page of the images that I wanted to capture. On the day it ran like clockwork, Imogen made me feel very at ease and there was no pressure, I could be myself with my horse which has really reflected through the final images. Even little things like Imogen holding my horse and putting his head collar on at the end of the shoot so I could get changed were the small things that I was not expecting, but made the day run like clockwork and I can’t thank Imogen enough.

The in person viewing session was brilliant and full of happy tears. The slide show of all my images was simply beautiful and the tissues were definitely needed. Imogen was very patient whilst I spent hours deciding what products I wanted to purchase (this was the hard part, if I had enough wall space to frame all of the final images, I would have). However there was no pressure from Imogen to purchase any products, she let me take my time and it was a lovely afternoon mulling over the memories captured on the day of my shoot.

I think my favourite part of my photoshoot was the in person viewing session. The photoshoot was brilliant and the day couldn’t have gone any better, however the best part for me was seeing the incredible images that Imogen had captured.

I can’t even describe the result of the images from my photoshoot. They are better than I ever expected and all tell a story of the relationship between my horse and I. I can honestly say there isn’t a single image that I don’t like and they will be reminisced upon for many years to come.

I am really happy with the result of my photos, when I look at my images they take me back to a day of happiness and really do make my heart melt seeing the bond that Imogen has captured between my horse and I."

The first thing I always say I love about my job is that it's so varied and different. Every shoot is totally bespoke. I'm pretty sure even if I attended the same client, two days in a row, the results would be totally different.

Now I know there are a lot of horse girls thinking "hell no! you won't get me in a dress!" and that's okay. But Jessica was dreaming of a shoot with dresses and flower garlands. A little magic captured of her magical partnership with her gorgeous coloured gelding, Barney.

Barney is really special to Jess. He used to be hired out for hunting and ragged around a bit, so now he has his own special human, the pair of them have an incredible bond.

I went to their gorgeous livery yard over in Grimsby this summer. We used a variety of locations, from his stable, to his paddock, to the local bridleways to create a huge variety of backdrops that complimented each of Jess's chosen outfits.

We started more casual and built up to the grand finale... The gorgeous cornflower blue dress and a garland to match. The ultimate princess portrait to finish the shoot for this special pair.

Barney was extremely patient with us, enjoying lots of snack breaks between outfit changes. We were even blessed with a little bit of sunshine towards the end which contributed to the magic on Jess's shoot day.

We had the most special viewing as well, I loved spending a few more hours with Jess and her mum choosing their favourite images and how to display them. I love getting these gorgeous images into my client's lives in a way I know will bring them joy for a lifetime.

Pinch me... Is this really my job? I am so incredibly lucky!
