Maddy & Tansy

In April I had a wonderful photoshoot with Maddy, and her lovely mare, Tansy.

Tansy is a 12.2Hh skewbald cob who is 5 years old. Maddy has had her for 3 years, initially she had her on loan to back, then ended up buying her a couple of years ago. Maddy & Tansy do a lot of showjumping and dressage together and I've photographed them at Derby College Equestrian Centre a few times when they've been competing. 

Maddy also wanted to include her family dog, Caramel. A gorgeous little 5 year old red cockapoo. 

We did a mixture of all sorts of images for Maddy.

We started where Tansy is stabled, then we boxed over to Shipley Country Park and did some on the bridleways and in the bluebells. It was absolutely chucking it down all morning, but Maddy was determined to go ahead with the shoot and it definitely paid off! The beginning of the shoot was done in a tiny bit of drizzle, but by the time we got to the park it was beautiful sunshine. 

I loved Maddy's outfit choices, they reflected her individual style so well, and she finally got to wear her gorgeous red prom dress which was bought before her prom got cancelled due to covid. 

We created a gorgeous 3 in 1 frame for Maddy as well, which I know she's going to love forever. It was such a pleasure working with these three.
