"I was nervous as I dislike having my photo taken and also my horse can be very grumpy, which made me very nervous about the shoot. But it couldn’t have gone better. Imogen put everyone at ease and gave everyone time and the patience required to get the desired photos.


I loved all of it, it was a genuinely lovely few hours spent with my lovely horse making incredible memories. When I look back at them they make me very emotional, I love every photo."

This was my final shoot of 2024, and wow it finished with a bang. Autumn was the most perfect time of year for this gorgeous estate, as a photographer you can't ask for much more than this for a location.


The lake, the woodland, the open spaces, cute manicured garden... we really got spoiled. And the weather of course, beautiful sunshine to top it all off and give all those autumn colours the wow factor!


I knew this session would be good when Vikki literally brought her whole wardrobe with her to the yard. There was so much choice, but we went with Vikki's favourite clothing and what she felt most comfortable in. After a nice cuppa we started just outside the stable area on the drive, before doing an outfit change and heading to the lake and woodland a bit further out in the farmland.

Vikki told me Honey, her mare, was very selective with who she liked. So I was totally relieved when she decided I was her friend!

At the end of the session we did a few images with Lexi, her gorgeous red lab. Lexi was a total poser and good girl, and we got some gorgeous images to finish the session on a high.
