Jo & Berite

Back in June I had a wonderful photoshoot with Jo and her loan horse, Bertie, at their yard in Duffield.

Bertie is an 8 year old conny x warmblood. Jo describes him as being very chilled and cuddly. At the moment they do lots of happy hacking together - they've got some really nice hacking out the back of the farm as well which we used as a location for some of their photos. 

Jo has loaned Bertie for just over 2 years now, and she really wanted a few cuddly photos with him. Jo brought some lovely outfit choices with her, and we had loads of fun picking some out and finding locations around the yard to take the photos. As you can see we had a lovely sunny day, too, which is always a bonus. 

I know Jo was a little nervous about having her photo taken, but after our chat on the phone and the photoshoot itself, it was a lot more pleasant than she expected. Bertie was such a good boy, too. He looked amazing with his summer coat and all of his wonderful dapples. I also loved meeting Jo's dogs who gave us lots of help picking her favourite images at her viewing.
