Back in April, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Emma and her gorgeous bay gelding Hilby at the beautiful Denstone Stud here in Staffordshire. Not only did Hilby get his moment in the spotlight, but Emma also brought along her wonderful golden retriever Millie, making it a truly special family portrait session.



I know from experience that stepping in front of the camera can feel a bit daunting — I completely understand, as I’m not always the biggest fan of it myself! But I always say: being brave enough to get in the frame is always worth it.
