I had the absolute joy of spending some time with Grace and her pony, Tilly, for a fun, festive Christmas session. There’s something so special about capturing the bond between a rider and their pony, and when you add a sprinkle of Christmas magic into the mix, the results are just fun. Even if it did rain the whole time during this session!


Grace and Tilly were total stars — from the twinkle lights to the cosy festive props, they really got into the Christmas spirit. Watching the two of them interact reminded me why these sessions are so much fun. It’s not just about creating beautiful images; it’s about celebrating the connection you share with your pony in a playful, relaxed way. Whether it’s a cheeky little pose, a nuzzle, or just some joyful moments together, these sessions are all about memories as much as they are about photos.

Doing a Christmas session with your pony is a unique way to capture the festive season. It’s lighthearted, fun, and creates images that will bring a smile to your face year after year.


Grace and Tilly’s session was a wonderful reminder of why I love these festive shoots — the laughter, the magic, and the joy of celebrating our amazing horses and ponies. I can’t wait to see what next year’s Christmas sessions will bring!
