These two are so much fun to work with, I can always rely on them to allow me to try new things and create some beautiful images. Last time we did bluebells and woodland, this time we did winter views and tails!


We met at a gorgeous location in the Peak District on a weekday morning in February to round off 4 amazing creative shoots I'd planned this winter. We started with some in hand stuff, taking in the views. We paired this with some pretty vintage looking outfits which I loved the end result!

After that Poppy put on her tails and got Tarka tacked up, and we headed back onto the bridle path to get some ridden stuff. Have you ever seen a dressage shoot in the Peak District? Well now you have.

The bank allowed me to get lots of different perspectives of them riding that I don't normally get to do which was really fun. I also did a few show shutter speed images capturing some movement and motion which was quite fun.

I'm so lucky to have loads of amazing clients that will put in so much effort for me, Poppy & Fleur included. I get to create such beautiful ideas and bring them to life with their help.


I've now scouted a handful of amazing locations up in the Peak District to use with clients if that's something they're up for, something a little more adventurous with their horses. A lot of my clients come back numerous times, so being able to offer something totally different to previous shoot locations is a big plus for me.
