“In the end I forgot that I hate being photographed and Maddie soon decided she could make a career out of being an equine model - no nerves from her at all.
The in person viewing session was very professional. It's definitely worth having this at home and you can consider how the frames will work with your decor.
Everytime I walk through my front door I see the big framed print of Maddie and it looks like something I bought in an art gallery. I can't believe that is my horse.”

"I decided to book with Imogen as she had done shoots for 2 other people I know and I could see this wasn't going to be an ordinary photo shoot.

I hate being photographed and I was worried my nervous mare would not cope but the photoshoot worked really well. Imogen worked hard for the 2 hours - she must have taken 100s of shots. In the end I forgot that I hate being photographed and Maddie soon decided she could make a career out of being an equine model - no nerves from her at all.

I got many more photos than I expected. I opted to buy the digital copies and I am having fun making a photobook of the day and buying other prints. My photos are lovely... Lovely photos of my beautiful girl to cherish forever. I already have a number framed and on display.

I would definitely book with Imogen again and my friend is already thinking about having a photoshoot with her!"

Back in April I had a wonderful photoshoot with Wendy and her gorgeous 13 year old grey cob mare, Maddie. Wendy has owned Maddie for 4.5 years now, and they have a lovely bond. Wendy describes her as a diva who loves digestive biscuits. Maddie has a home for life with Wendy.

They're stabled on the beautiful grounds of Hopwell Hall in Derbyshire, and the location didn't disappoint for the shoot. It was the time of year where all the bluebells were out, too. So we incorporated these into the images.

When I initially spoke to Wendy, she mentioned she didn't want to be in any of the photos, she wanted some headshots and some of Maddie at liberty. However, a few weeks before her shoot during our design consultation call, Wendy decided that she would like to be in the images, and in the end she ended up being in most of them.

I love it when my clients are brave enough to give it a go, as I know how nerve wracking it can be stepping in front of the camera for the first time.

Wendy wasn't the only one with outfit choices either! Maddie had a variety of headcollars and bridles which we changed throughout the shoot, too.
